Rad 168 Library Resource Guide

Welcome to your library resource guide for Rad 168! This guide will give you an introduction to the Lee and Jim Vann Library and some resources you will need to successfully complete your course assignments. Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate to the Help and FAQs pages. There is a video overview of the library website on the Get Help page.

The library has many books and journals available for you to use, in print and online. You can use the OneSearch search box above, to locate books, journals, DVDs and even streaming media. Enter search terms by title, keyword, or ISBN number.

Try a search using the OneSearch box above. Notice that OneSearch results include print titles and electronic book titles, which you can access directly from the library catalog. Use the search limiters along the left side of the page to narrow your results to e-books. To access e-books from off campus, you will be required to log in using your USF username and password.

Online Manuals

Merck Manual

The Merck Manual Professional - All Merck Manuals are now online. The professional and consumer versions are available from this link. Find the most current information you need on medical topics, symptoms, drugs, procedures, news and more, written for the health care professional.

PDR Online

The Physician's Desk Reference is available at www.PDR.net. Accessing the drug information does not require registration or login. The information is the same whether you log in or not. Use the search box in the middle of the page to locate prescription drug information.

The PDR free app is also available from either the Appstore or Google Playstore. The app does require registration and you will be able to register as a student.
