This is a quick reference guide to helpful library resources for Physician Assistant students.

Special Collections

Clinical Key - Find books, journals, drug information, patient education, procedures consults, multimedia, and more. On campus students have access to Clinical Key from university computers. Returning students will have a personal login to access this resource from off campus.

Merck Manual - All Merck Manuals are now online. The professional and consumer versions are available from this link. Find the most current information you need on medical topics, symptoms, drugs, procedures, news and more, written for the health care professional.

Physician's Desk Reference - The Physicians Desk Reference is available at www.PDR.net. Accessing the drug information does not require registration or login. The information is the same whether you log in or not. The PDR free app is also available from either the Appstore or Google Playstore. The app does require registration and you will be able to register as a student.

Rittenhouse R2 Digital Library - The R2 Digital library collection is a database of full-text e-books for nursing, medicine, and allied health. The R2 interface is optimized for the health sciences with features including integrated drug name, topic, and disease indices, and pass-through linking to PubMed and MeSH searching. This database provides titles via purchase on demand. There are many titles available to you that we may not own yet. If a title is viewed three separate times, the library will be notified and we may purchase the title as funds are made available.
