Over the next few weeks EBSCO will be upgrading their results page infrastructure. During this time, and under certain circumstances, you may see the following message when attempting to read an article:
"This item cannot be opened in a new tab. To view it, return to search results and select the link there."
The message will display when a user right-clicks to open an article from the results page to open it in a new tab, rather than clicking to read the article from the original browser.
Are you working on a new research project? Unsure where to start? Where to search? Follow along with our step-by-step Research Guide to help you through the research process. This online guide will help you develop a topic, find the right resources, create citations, and avoid plagiarism.

All versions of the Merck Manual are now free online with no login required. In 2015, Merck & Co. made a commitment to provide current medical information for medical professionals and patients through the Global Medical Knowledge 2020 initiative. This is also a very "green" initiative in that the company will no longer distribute the print version of the manuals. A link to the Merck Manual Professional Version is included in the Databases A-Z list.
