University of Saint Francis librarians are generally available to meet with you between the hours of 8 a.m.- 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m Friday, and by appointment at other times.
To meet with a librarian, stop at the user services desk and ask to speak to a librarian. No appointment is necessary. The user services desk is located on the second floor of the library.
Do you need a laptop, camera, or microphone? Vann Library provides a variety of equipment available for checkout from the User Services desk.
Two device charging stations have been placed in the library for students and faculty use. One station is located near the service desk on the 2nd floor of the library and another is located in the Collaboratory. Happy charging!
We are pleased to announce that the library has arranged trial access to the Rittenhouse R2 Digital Library. The trial will be active through the end of February, 2016.
The R2 Digital Library is a leading eBook platform featuring a comprehensive selection of medical, nursing and allied health eBooks with an interface optimized for the health sciences workflow. The R2 Digital Library is a searchable database containing thousands of eBooks from leading health sciences publishers.

All versions of the Merck Manual are now free online with no login required. In 2015, Merck & Co. made a commitment to provide current medical information for medical professionals and patients through the Global Medical Knowledge 2020 initiative. This is also a very "green" initiative in that the company will no longer distribute the print version of the manuals. A link to the Merck Manual Professional Version is included in the Databases A-Z list.
The Pope John Paul II building is accessible 24 hours a day during regular semester hours. This includes access to the Cyber Fresh Café. Vann Library hours are listed in the table below.
